MONTPELIER, Vt. -

The clock is running out on Campaign 2014.

Candidates spent the day trying to grab some last minute support and encouraging people to get out and vote.

We caught up with Governor Peter Shumlin, D-Vermont, at 5 Corners in Essex Junction.

"I think we are on the right track, I am asking for your help," said Shumlin.

The Republican looking to unseat him was out on Main Street in Barre City.

"I think we need more balance in Montpelier, we've got some great ideas," said Scott Milne, R-Vermont.

Incumbent Lt. Gov Phil Scott, R-Vermont, was out on Route 7 in South Burlington waving at commuters Monday evening.

"Remind them it's Tuesday, we need some support, need people to get to the polls," said Scott.

And Progressive Democrat Dean Corren was out with Shumlin in Essex Junction.

"I think if all the Progressive and Democratic voters come out to vote we will have a very good outcome," said Corren.
