Some questions Tuesday about one campaign's efforts to get people out to vote.

Dean Corren hopes to unseat Lt. Gov. Phil Scott. And his campaign sent mass text messages touting his endorsements and encouraging people to get to the polls Tuesday.

But it turns out that a federal consumer protection law does not allow "robocalls" or mass texts to cellphones without the consent of owners.

The Corren campaign says the texts were supposed to go to supporters who had given consent. But they are investigating whether a different phone list was possibly used.
