Number three comes from Friday as the Mount Mansfield softball team hosted Rutland..

First inning, MMU down 1-0, but the Cougars get it back and then some. With a runner on 2nd, Rylee LeBourveau launched a shot to left field. There was no fence so the ball kept on rolling and she has some wheels, as she rounded third and headed home for the two-run, inside the park home run. MMU would defeat Rutland, 6-2.

Number two came from Wednesday with the Castleton baseball team hosting Colby Sawyer. Connor Johnson on the bump for the Spartans and he was dealing, as he went 8 innings without allowing a hit.

With a 0-0 score in the bottom of the 8th, BFA-St Albans standout Nick Swim sent a shot up the middle, Taylor Vile would come home and score the game winning run and in the process gave Johnson the no-hit win as Castleton won, 1-0.

And a two-for-one at Number one, the Saint Michael's softball team making Colchester walk-off city this week.

On Thursday, with a scoreless game in the bottom of the 8th, Sarah Murry lined a shot into left field and Essex's Jessica Barnett crossed the plate for the 1-0 walk-off win.

Then on Saturday, with a scoreless game in the bottom of the 9th inning against Merrimack, Danielle DelGreco launched a shot deep to left and it fell over the left fielder's head. The good luck charm, Barnett, crossed the plate for the game winner once again. Two walk-offs in just three days and Saint Mike's takes home the Top Spot in this week's Top 3 on 3.
