BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A migrant worker living in Vermont is expected to be released from jail, that's according to the Migrant Justice Center. The organization says an immigration court in Boston set Victor Diaz's bond at $1,500.

The outspoken advocate of migrant rights was arrested in April by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He became a priority with ICE following a 2015 DUI conviction. His arrest led to a series of protests earlier this spring.
