The Scales are most likely to find themselves in the kind of pretty places which appeal to their desire for pleasurable excess. A trip to Munich to pick up a BMW for future delivery (and the option to tour in it while there) seems perfectly reasonable to these folks, as would a visit to Rio for Carneval or Pamplona for the ""running of the bulls."" Hong Kong for the changeover would have been nice, especially if a stay at the Mandarin Hotel was in the plan.

It's a fair bet that Librans already have plans for next year's New Year's Eve, not wanting to miss out on the best possible destination. The Scales are also keenly interested in the beauty of other people, so it would make perfect sense for them to have Nepal, Morocco or other exotic locales on their travel calendar.
