Wildlife Watch: How dead trees help bats

Did you know that dead and dying trees in your backyard could be a safe haven for hundreds of bats? The Indiana bat is an endangered species that relies on these trees for habitat. Our Eva McKend caught up with Keith Thompson of the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation at a town forest in Hinesburg to learn about the significance of the trees.
