What the sale of Seventh Generation means for Vt.

The eco-conscious home goods Vermont company Seventh Generation is on track to be bought by multinational corporation Unilever. The Wall Street Journal says Unilever agreed to pay $700 million for Seventh Generation, but terms of the deal haven't been disclosed.

Seventh Generation makes environmentally friendly household cleansers and personal care products. They made over $200 million in sales last year. The company has 170 employees, including 110 in Vermont.
