A new chef at the Veterans Place in Northfield says that for her, cooking is personal. Meet Donna Greene. Watch the video for more.

BREAD PUDDING

  • ¾ CUP SUGAR
  • 2 EGGS BEATEN
  • 2 CUPS OF MILK
  • 2 TEASPOON PUMPKIN PIE SPICE
  • 2 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
  • 4 CUPS DAY OLD TORN WHITE BREAD
  • ¾ CUP THOMPSON RAISINS

PUT BREAD IN GREASED 8 X 8 BAKING DISH

WHISK EGGS, ADD SUGAR AND MILK. ONCE BLENDED ADD PUMPKIN PIE SPICE AND VANILLA EXTRACT. WHISK UNTIL ALL BLENDED TOGETHER.

SPRINKLE RAISINS IN WITH TORN BREAD THEN TOP WITH LIQUID.

BAKE PREHEATED 350 DEGREE OVEN FOR 45-50 MINUTES

LET COOL, SERVE WARM WITH FRESH WHIPPED CREAM
