Vt. man sentenced to prison for selling heroin

TOWNSHEND, Vt. -

A Vermont man was sentenced to at least six years in prison for selling heroin that led to a fatal overdose.

Prosecutors say 27-year-old Daniel Fogg of West Townsend sold the drugs that 23-year-old Cody Kilburn OD'd on at his home in Manchester Center last November.

Fogg pleaded guilty to selling heroin with death resulting.

Police say 25-year-old Francis Mayhle of Peru actually purchased the drugs from Fogg and provided them to Kilburn. Mayhle also pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one year in jail.
