Vt. students tout education in new music video

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

 A new music video made by Vermont students touts the benefits of the latest trend in education, proficiency based learning.

Grace Ecklund Gustavson is a singer/song writer for "Our Time." She lives in Montpelier and is a junior at U-32 high school. Asia Bernatchy is from Plainfield  and a senior at Twinfield Union school.  She is heavily involved in the music program at her school.

UP for Learning has been nominated for the 's 2016 Youth Organizing Award. UP for Learning will be the recipient of $50,000 if they receive the most votes by November 30 at noon. Just as student voice matters, so does your vote. 

There are two simple steps you can take to help Vermont youth:

2. Cast your vote by email at http://studentsatthecenterhub.org/award-nominees/ and make sure to click on UP for Learning.
