In The Kitchen: Chocolate swirl bundt cake

CHOCOLATE SWIRL BUNDT CAKE

Ingredients:

Chocolate Mixture:

8 Oz. Cream Cheese, room temperature
1/3 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Chocolate Chips

Cake Batter:

1 Stick Butter, room temperature
8 Oz. Cream Cheese, room temperature
1 Cup Sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Milk
1 3/4 Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 Teaspoon Salt

Process:

Put together chocolate mixture: Cream together the cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla. Stir in the chocolate chips and set aside.

Put together the cake batter: Cream together the butter, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Add milk, then dry ingredients.

Assemble: In the bottom of a greased and floured bundt pan add half of the cake batter. Next add all of the chocolate mixture. Then top off with with the remaining cake batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-75 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out cleanly. Let cool for 10 minutes, then carefully flip onto a serving dish (using oven mitts if needed). Feel free to serve with a dusting of powdered sugar. Enjoy!
