Sera Congi co-anchors the Channel 3 News at 6:00 and 11:00 PM and also serves as the Channel 3 News Medical Reporter.
Sera joined the Channel 3 News Team in October, 1994 as a reporter and she's been covering the Medical beat ever since. She was the premiere Anchor and Producer of the Channel 3 News This Morning in August of 1996.
Sera was also the first Anchor and Producer of WCAX-TV's Sunday Newscast in August of 1998. Soon after that, she was promoted to the Anchor position of all the weekend shows.
Today, she co-anchors the Channel 3 News at 6:00 PM, with Marselis Parsons and the Channel 3 News at 11:00 PM with Roger Garrity.
Sera worked as an intern for CBS News in New York in the Fall of 1993 and Spring of 1994, where she worked at the news magazine show "Eye to Eye with Connie Chung" and the Northeast Bureau of CBS News.
Sera was born and raised in Queens, NY, and earned a Bachelor's degree in English from Baruch College, City University of New York, in 1994.
Sera is married to WCAX News photographer Joe Carroll. Her hobbies include cooking, hiking, and snowshoeing.
