Sharon Meyer leads the team of Meteorologists at WCAX-TV and provides weather forecasts on the Channel 3 News at 6:00PM.

Sharon grew up outside of Boston MA, but when she came to Vermont to attend college, she knew she never wanted to leave. Where else can you find a job you love, and "live in a postcard"?

She became the lead forecaster, and director of the weather department, when Stuart Hall retired in 1990.

She has a BS from the University of Vermont, and has been a member of the American Meteorological Society since 1988.

Sharon is best known for her versatility. She frequently includes garden tips, foliage tours, nature notes, and finds time for her "pet" project... finding homes for animals from the local Humane Societies.

She is busy away from the station as well. She enjoys family time, travel, baseball, boating, hiking and skiing.

She is married, and is the glowing owner of two dogs.
