Gary Sadowsky

Gary Sadowsky was born, and grew up in, the Twin Cities of Minnesota, where the blizzards rage in the winter and tornadoes twirl in the summer.

His first degree was in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota.

After years as a bicycle shop manager, he decided to pursue his true professional passion - the weather! He attended Lyndon State College in Lyndonville and received his B.S. degree in Meteorology.

Gary started at WCAX in 1992 as the weekend weathercaster. In 1995, he moved to 11:00 PM weekdays. And when the Channel 3 Early Morning News was launched in 1997, Gary - a natural "nightowl," was chosen to begin everyone else's day with a smile and a forecast!

Gary enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid bicyclist and runner. He has ridden ten "centuries" (100-mile bike rides) and run four complete marathons.

Expect some sunshine for Sunday, but also a few afternoon showers.  High temperatures will be similar to Saturday...in the mid 60s to low 70s.  A cold front will approach the region on Monday, bringing the chance for a few showers or thunderstorms.  The humidity will creep up a bit on Monday as well.

Unsettled weather is forecast for the middle of the week.  The cold front is expected to become stationary in our region from Tuesday through Friday.  During that time, expect generally mostly cloudy skies, with the chance for showers each day.
