Poll Shows Majority of Vermonters Will Travel Abroad Despite Declining Dollar

Burlington, Vermont - November 2, 2007

The American dollar reached an all time low on Friday when matched against its Canadian counterpart. The looney is now worth a $1.07 in U.S. Currency. So how has the declining dollar effected Vermonters plans to travel abroad?

The question was asked in a new Channel 3 News poll. Of the 400 likely voters surveyed by Research 2000, 36 percent said yes, it will effect their travel plans. But most of those surveyed, 64 percent, said it won't factor in.
