Groveton, New Hampshire - December 31, 2007
Hundreds of mill workers in northern New Hampshire will lose their jobs Monday.
The Wausau Paper Mill in Groveton is shutting down, because of the increased cost of fuel and less demand for paper products. As a result, more than 300 hundred people will lose their jobs.
The state and federal government have been working with employees for the last couple months, providing them with job training and counseling to help the workers find another job.
