Rutland, Vermont - January 31, 2008
Vermont's largest heist happened six years ago Thursday. And the suspect is still on the loose.
Police say a gunman walked into the Berkshire Armored Car company in Rutland on January 31st, 2002. He handcuffed two employees, forced them to open the vault and made off with nearly $2 million dollars in cash. The money and the man are still missing.
Police say they still get occasional tips, but no arrests have been made.
A $20,000 reward is being offered in the case.
