BURLINGTON, Vt. - Junior Amy Rosenkrantz matched her career-high with 22 points and teammates Courtnay Pilypaitis and Kelli Poles added double-doubles as the Vermont Catamounts cruised to a 71-51 victory over Stony Brook in America East women's basketball action on Sunday afternoon at Patrick Gymnasium.
Vermont improved to 15-7 overall and 6-3 in America East with the victory. The Catamounts moved into sole possession of second place in the conference standings and also improved to 10-1 at Patrick Gymnasium this season. Stony Brook extends its losing streak to six games and falls to 6-16 overall and 1-8 in league play.
