BURLINGTON, VT -- Kyle Robbins will not be returning to the UVM men's basketball team next season.
The 6'10" redshirt freshman has been granted his unconditional release by head coach Mike Lonergan.
Robbins appeared in just eleven games this season, scoring a total of four points. His departure frees up a scholarship.
A potential transfer candidate is sophomore point guard Pierre Curtis from James Madison.
According to a story in the Daily News-Record newspaper of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Curtis, who averaged ten points and four assists a game this season, has been granted a conditional release to explore the possibility of transferring and UVM is one of four schools he is considering.
