Rupert, Vermont - June 2, 2008
The search from a missing boy from New York moved to Vermont this weekend.
12-year-old Jaliek Rainwalker has not been seen since last November when his father left him with a family member at a home in Greenwich, New York. Police suspect foul play and the boy's adoptive father, Stephen Kerr is the prime focus of their investigation.
This weekend, a group of nearly two dozen volunteers searched the Merck National Forest in Rupert. Rainwalker's family frequently camped and hiked there.
The search turned up no new clues. Two more searches of the area are planned for this month.
