Montreal's Fireworks Champion

Montreal, Quebec - August 7, 2008

A team from Newcastle, Pennsylvania took home top honors at this year's International Fireworks Competition in Montreal. Nine countries competed in this year's competition. The winning performances were announced Wednesday night. Pennsylvania based Pyrotechnico took home top honors for their show called "Rock Love." Several long time spectators told us it was the best show they had ever seen. It was Pyrotechnico's first time at the competition. Americans have won the competition 8 times in 24 years.
