A Granville, N.Y., man faces drug charges and charges for a terrorist hoax.
Authorities say 44-year-old Samuel Jones claimed a terrorist group that he bought drugs from planned to use ambulances loaded with explosives to blow up hospitals in Albany, N.Y. The FBI investigated it, and says his claims are false.
Jones was caught after a high-speed chase in Rutland County. Police say he almost ran over a detective before jumping into Lake Bomoseen to try to get away.
Jones faces 45-years-to-life in prison.
