The rides are offered Wednesday through Sunday. All riders are accompanied by a professional driver and brakeman.
There are also numerous other recreational opportunities in the Lake Placid area. Luge rides are offered on Christmas Day. The Olympic Regional Development Authority also offers a training course on how to be an official biathlete, a sport that combines freestyle skiing with rifle marksmanship.
