Race Sentenced to Life for Manor Murder

Mooers, New York - January 15, 2009

A Canadian man convicted of a murder in northern New York has been sentenced to life in prison.

Glen Race, 27, was found guilty of killing Darcy Manor at a camp in Mooers, N.Y., 2 years ago. Prosecutors say he was on the run after committing a double-murder in Canada and killed Manor to steal his truck.

Thursday, Judge Kevin Ryan sentenced Race to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
