Instructor Rachael Miller charges $95 a person to attend a beginner's course. Each class lasts about three hours. All are held at Sandbar State Park on Lake Champlain. Snowkiting is relatively new to Vermont. The sport really started gaining momentum here six or seven years ago. Many claim the sport's origins are in Europe. Others say it started here in the states.
