How to Learn or Watch Snowkiting

Want to go snowkiting like reporter Keagan Harsha did in his story, "Destination Recreation: Snowkiting?"

Instructor Rachael Miller charges $95 a person to attend a beginner's course. Each class lasts about three hours. All are held at Sandbar State Park on Lake Champlain. A follow-up lesson costs $85 a person. For more information just click on the link below:

If you'd like to see the sport in action but don't have any interest in actually trying it yourself head to Sandbar State Park in Milton the weekend of February 21-22, 2009. You can also try the sport for free if you pre-register for the event. For more information check out the following link:

Snowkiting is relatively new to Vermont. The sport really started gaining momentum here six or seven years ago. Many claim the sport's origins are in Europe. Others say it started here in the states. For more on that check out the site below:
