A man who ran out on his sexual assault trial has been captured.
Ali Abdi, 34, was accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl in Burlington. On the third day of his trial, he failed to show up. The jury found him guilty anyway.
A nationwide manhunt was launched and prosecutors say Abdi was captured this past weekend in Ann Arbor, Mich. He's awaiting extradition back to Vermont where he faces a sentence of ten-years-to-life in jail.
