BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Norwich University students have come together to collaborate, design, and build an award-winning project at Union Elementary School in Montpelier.

The NEST is an outdoor classroom and playhouse and is part of playground renovations at the school.

Norwich University architecture students designed and built it getting input from members of the community and many of the materials are sourced from local vendors.

Scott Fleishman spoke with Tolya Stonorov, an architecture professor at Norwich about the project.
