NORTHFIELD, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont college president says living in a dormitory among the students is a way to share their experiences of coping with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Norwich University President Mark Anarumo moved into the dormitory at the Northfield school last Friday and stayed until Tuesday.
Dozens of Norwich students have tested positive for the virus and students are mostly quarantined to their rooms.
Anarumo said he wanted to live like the students and have a shared experience to show them he understands what they are going through.
Anarumo says that living among college students he even learned to like some of the music played by college students.
