Vermont setting up electric car infrastructure of the future

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - This past holiday weekend was the busiest for travel in over a year, as more people hit the roads despite the highest Memorial Day gas prices in seven years.
But more Vermonters also appear to be turning to electric vehicles, and the state is doing all it can to accommodate this shift by appropriating funding and creating charging stations throughout the state.
Darren Perron spoke with Dave Roberts from Drive Electric Vermont, a statewide public-private partnership aimed at accelerating transportation electrification in Green Mountain State.
