Police investigate reports of person jumping off Rutland City bridge

RUTLAND, Vt. (WCAX) - Rutland City Police are investigating reports of someone jumping off the River Street Bridge Monday.

Police say they responded to the bridge near Dorr Drive Monday afternoon after they received a report that someone jumped into the creek.

Detectives and scuba teams searched the banks but couldn’t find anyone in the water or surrounding area.
