Why are Vermont courts sticking to pandemic protocols?

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Vermont is the safest state in the country when it comes to COVID, so why are state and county courthouses still taking safety precautions?

Masks, social distancing, and health screenings remain in place for courthouses across Vermont. It’s up to individual judges to decide if participants can go unmasked during a hearing based on vaccination status.

Dom Amato spoke with Chief Superior Judge Brian Grearson about why the precautions remain in place.
