Vt. school district cancels class over bus shortage

BENNINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - A shortage of school bus drivers means school is canceled Tuesday for students in the Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union.
The district, which covers most of southern Bennington County, announced on social media Tuesday that they wouldn’t be able to provide bus transportation.
However, sports and other activities will go on as normal.
The SVSU Administration and representatives from Dufour Transportation will meet Tuesday to plan for Wednesday.
