BERLIN, Vt. (WCAX) - A truck fire temporarily shut down the Interstate 89 off-ramps in Berlin Monday morning.

It happened just before 8 a.m.

Police say the Exit 7 northbound and southbound off-ramps were closed due to a tractor-trailer on fire on Route 62.

Vermont State Police say Fredrick Morey, 61, of Sharon, was able to get out of the truck safely and there were no injuries.

The area was shut down for a little more than an hour.

The scene has since been cleared up and the off-ramps have reopened.
