BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - In this week’s Snowplow Spotlight, we are highlighting two plows: Plowser and Wolf Tracks.

Plowser is driven by Jarrett Petterson and takes care of Route 5 Lyndonville to St. Johnsbury.

If you think Plowser sounds like the Super Mario villain Bowser, you’re right.

The mom of a second grader at the Riverside School says her son came up with the name based on the class turtle, Bowser.

The name for Wolf Tracks came from a sixth grader at Albany Community School. The name beat out others ideas like Mailbox Magnet and Meow.

A sixth grader at Albany Community School came up with the name.

It makes sense since because the school’s mascot is a wolf and students are given “wolf tracks” to acknowledge good behavior.

Allen Stevens drives the truck on Route 14 heading to Hardwick.

He says the name is perfect because of the mascot.
