BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Vermont’s largest hospital was forced to go without water for about an hour on Monday morning.

The UVM Medical Center says water service has since been restored and everything is fine.

Burlington Public Works says parts of the UVM Medical Center experienced very little to no water pressure. The problem lasted for about an hour.

The city was in the middle of two projects: flushing hydrants nearby and doing some preconstruction work by University Place.

Now, they’re trying to figure out how that impacted the hospital while working to make sure there are no more water disruptions when construction at University Place begins in earnest later this month.
