Brattleboro police find woman dead during welfare check

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (WCAX) - Brattleboro police say they discovered a woman’s body while conducting a welfare check.

Officers say it happened last Thursday at a home on South Street.

They say they found evidence of drug use on the scene.

The death is not considered suspicious. The woman’s name is not being released at this time.
