UVM buildings evacuated after gas leak

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Six University of Vermont buildings were evacuated Wednesday morning following a gas leak.
UVM officials say it happened around 10:15 a.m. after a construction excavator struck a natural gas line near Carrigan Drive.
The line break was repaired and everyone was let back inside the buildings by 2:00 p.m.
