Erin is from Richmond, Virginia, but moved to Vermont from South Carolina where she reported in the Myrtle Beach market. She covered several local stories that made national headlines including a deadly ambush on law enforcement officers, the kidnapping and murder of 13-year-old Hania Aguilar, and Hurricane Florence. Before landing her first on-air job, Erin spent two years behind the cameras as a producer at KRNV in Reno, Nevada.
Erin is also an alumna of ABC News' internship program and is highly grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside such a prestigious group of journalists at the beginning of her professional career. She started in the New York City bureau during her last semester at Radford University in 2015. Her biggest accomplishment was joining the investigative team on a major undercover story that exposed car dealers for selling new vehicles with safety recalls on them. Months later, she landed her second internship with ABC News in Washington, D.C. While in the nation's capital, Erin attended Congressional hearings on Capitol Hill with producers and correspondents.
When not working, Erin is either chowing down on sushi, laughing hysterically while watching re-runs of 30 Rock (her favorite show), or taking naps with her cat Delilah.
