Before joining WHSV, Kyle reported on the day's top stories at CBS 21 News in Harrisburg, Pa. and WFMZ-TV in Allentown, Pa. Throughout college, he worked as an on-air personality at WIKZ-FM MIX95.1 in Chambersburg, Pa. and WITF Public Media in Harrisburg.

His first 'break' into the business started when he was 13-years-old. After seeing a report on 'Entertainment Tonight' of a new national newscast for teenagers reported by teenagers, he wrote an e-mail to the producer of the show and ultimately hosted segments for the program throughout high school.

While at WHSV, Kyle has reported and anchored from several major breaking news events throughout the Shenandoah Valley including a massive apartment building fire near JMU, the shopping plaza explosion in Harrisonburg in 2020, devastating flooding in Staunton, and a deadly shooting on a local college campus in 2022. In addition, he's produced long-form stories on cold cases in the area.

Involved in the community, Kyle serves on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Harrisonburg-Rockingham County and Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance. Every year, he co-hosts 'Top Chef: Harrisonburg' which benefits Blue Ridge CASA for Children. Kyle is a regional Vice President for the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

When he's not on the air, you'll find him out and about exploring the Shenandoah Valley.
