Paul Crilly is currently the producer of WCAX's 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts.
Paul has lived in Vermont since he was 5 years old. He graduated from Springfield High School in 2002. After high school Paul wanted to pursue his dream of sports announcing, so he enrolled at Lyndon State College. There he discovered his love of news by producing, reporting, and anchoring for the award winning college newscast News7. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Television Broadcasting and an associate's degree in Television Production in 2006.
After college, Paul spent the summer calling play-by-play and color commentary for the Vermont Mountaineers in the New England Collegiate Baseball League. He traveled with the team for all home and away games and was able to announce the team's first ever championship.
In 2007, Paul was back in news, when he signed on with Fox44 to help launch the station's newscast. In his three years there, Paul did a variety of things including producing weekday and weekend shows, as well as working the assignment desk.
When he's not hard at work, Paul enjoys listening to music, playing video games, hanging out with friends, and following the Boston Bruins.
Feel free to contact Paul with comments, story ideas, or questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
