Céline McArthur is an award-winning television News Anchor and Investigative Reporter at WCAX-Channel 3 News.

Céline produced the 2018 Emmy Award-winning special "Beyond the Border: The Opioid Pipeline" with her photographer after their Boston-market television station unexpectedly shut down in 2017. Armed with three months of severance pay, two personal DSLR cameras and eight GoPros, the two embarked on a groundbreaking 1,700-mile international journey to find out how a record amount of drugs are flowing into the Granite State.

Prior to that, Céline spent two years at NH1 News as an evening news anchor, managing editor and chief investigative reporter. During that time, she earned four more Emmy nominations for outstanding news reporting and was awarded "Best of New Hampshire 2016" for a weekly series she produced called "Secrets to Entrepreneurial Success."

Céline launched her investigative reporting career in Jacksonville, Florida, where she earned a Florida Associated Press Award for an exclusive, 10-part series, "Mystery Disease in Jacksonville." Investigative Reporters & Editors (IRE) spotlighted her computer-assisted, data-driven special report, "Sex Offenders Near Bus Stops," which ultimately changed the way the local school district creates bus stops. She also earned a Governor's Award for Excellence and Outstanding Contribution to Criminal Justice for producing a weekly series with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to capture fugitive sex offenders and predators.

Céline earned her master's degree in Journalism and Public Affairs in Washington, D.C., and her bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism at Boston University.

When she's not working, she's skiing, hiking, biking, swimming with her two dogs in Lake Champlain or perfecting her archery skills.
