It is a tech-lovers paradise
The 9th annual Vermont Code Camp took place this weekend at Champlain College.
The free event attracted more than 200 people. The camp brought together members of the technology community, students and professionals. Event organizer Rob Hale says the technology scene in Vermont is thriving.
"Everyone thinks of Vermont in terms of skiing and maple syrup and what not, but our chief export is microchips. This is a technology state and the more we can reinforce that for folks to know, the better," said organizer Rob Hale.
Code Camp featured sessions and speakers on software, programming, databases, the web and more. They hope to continue to expand the event in the coming years.
