Bear leaves mess inside Underhill home

A bear invasion in Underhill. Authorities say a bear went into a home and left a real mess behind.

The town's animal control Facebook page posted several photos of the mess the bear made.

They say a young male bear climbed in through an open window, leaving a big mess behind.

The bear actually came back after the owners cleaned up but they were able to scare him off.

Vermont Fish and Wildlife had to euthanize the bear to keep the public safe. They remind people to remove any outside food sources that could attract bears.
