Beekmantown death ruled homicide

BEEKMANTOWN, N.Y. (WCAX) New York authorities say the death of a Beekmantown woman has been ruled a homicide.

New York State Police say Ginger Clark, 73, was found dead in her Beekmantown home Thursday. An autopsy was completed at the Albany Medical Center and after review, the Clinton County coroner on Sunday ruled the death a homicide.

Clark's grandson, Gustavo Segundo-Clark, who lived with her, is currently in custody. Police have said he is a person of interest in their investigation. Police would not release any other specific details.

Thursday, family members told reporter Kelly O'Brien that Ginger Clark was a delight, who would do anything for anyone.
