PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. A Beekmantown man has been indicted for the murder of his grandmother with a kitchen knife back in November.
Gustavo Segundo-Clark, 25, was indicted by a grand jury Tuesday
on eight counts including murder in the second degree in the death of Ginger Clark, 73. Police say he lived with Clark in her Beekmantown home.
Court documents detail how Segundo-Clark was stopped by police on the New York State Thruway in Cayuga County. He told officers he was
was traveling to visit his mother and that the red Subaru Forester he was driving was his.
When asked about why the car was registered to Ginger Clark, he initially denied knowing her. He later admitted she was his grandmother and they had been in a fight.
Police say Clark was killed with a kitchen knife and Segundo-Clark tried to wash it.
He will be back in court March 14th.
