Bond for Mt. Abraham school rejected
The repairs will have to wait for Mt. Abraham Union High School.
Thursday night a $35 million school bond up for a vote in Addison County was struck down.
The money was slated to go for renovations. The final tally was 1,261 opposed and 1,168 people for the project. The difference was less than a 100 votes.
It's not the first time this district has talked about a revamp. A similar bond was was voted down a few years ago.
