A deadly crash that shut down Interstate 89 in Bethel Sunday is now under investigation.
The two-car collision happened around 2:30 p.m. near mile marker 23 in the northbound lane. Investigators say Jakim Hopkins, 32, of Brooklyn, New York, crashed into the back of Massachusetts woman's car, sending it into the southbound lane.
She was not hurt, but Hopkins died from his injuries.
Witnesses say Hopkins was driving too fast and erratically before the crash.
