Conservation groups working to protect petroglyphs

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) The Vermont Commission on Native American Affairs from Brattleboro and other conservation groups are working with the Abenaki tribe to preserve a petroglyphs. They're located at an ancient ceremonial site where the West and Connecticut Rivers meet, but developers are considering properties near the site.

Eva McKend spoke with Vermont State Archaeologist Jess Robinson about the significance of the site.
