Police say the driver of a white sedan came out of Aspen Drive against the light, hitting a pickup truck heading north on Dorset Street. The sedan then hit a tree and rolled over onto the lawn of a building.
We saw the driver in the police cruiser and then she was led in handcuffs over to an ambulance.
Police say she was taken to the hospital as a precaution and that she had been speeding.
"Certainly well above the posted speed limit. You're not going to do that at 25 mph-- spin a car heavier than you around and have enough momentum left to roll it over," South Burlington Police Cpl. Ron Bliss said.
Police say it was lucky that there wasn't anyone out walking on the sidewalks there at the time.
They closed the northbound side of the road for about a half-hour and rerouted traffic through the neighborhoods. The road has since reopened.
