Crews with the Vermont Agency of Transportation responded to several crashes Wednesday, as snow fell across the state.

Slick conditions led to several slide-offs on Interstate 89, including a semi-truck that went into the ledges in the median between the Waterbury and Middlesex exits. Police say the truck's driver, Alexandro Castellanos-Figueroa, 26, of Montreal, tried to pass another car, lost control and jack-knifed into the median. The car then plowed into the rear of the truck. Castellanos-Figueroa was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. Police say he was driving too fast for conditions.

Police say a stuck tractor-trailer also temporarily blocked all traffic on Hinesburg Road in South Burlington.

Vermont State Police are reminding motorists to drive to the conditions.
